Beginning in 2021 with a handful of dentists, our Facebook group has grown into a massive platform more than 18,000 strong
What is our Facebook group about?
The Dental Practice Matchmaker Facebook Group is a free, nationwide platform that allows private practice oriented dentists and dental students to connect with each other regarding dental transitions
The group was started to provide dentists with an alternative model for finding private practice transition opportunities WITHOUT going through brokers or recruiters
From humble beginnings of just a small group of dentists who were frustrated with the broker and recruiter model, our Facebook group has grown to the point of being the largest online network for private practice transitions in the nation
Our feed is organized in four kinds of listings:
- #Buying posts by our members who are looking to purchase a practice
- #Selling posts by our members who are looking to sell their practice
- #Looking (permanent and temporary) posts by our members who are looking for an associate position
- #Hiring (permanent and temporary) posts by our members who are looking to hire an associate
Along with their post, our Facebook members specify their #State and #City. With this model we’ve been able to make COUNTLESS organic connections, and there’s no sign of that slowing down
